cfmunesco 2018 NOvember 24-27 Mun lovers, my greetings to all of you. My name is Syria Paoloni and I’m 18 years old. I’ll be the Secretary General of the fifth edition of CFMUNESCO and this is going to be my eighth Model United Nations (Mun) experience. Why did I decide to become the Secretary general? That’s because I wanted to give something back in return for all that Muns have given me. I love this project because it has given me the opportunity to grow, to improve my English level, to keep up with world affairs and to meet new people from different countries, with different languages and cultures. I still keep in touch with several delegates, especially from foreign countries, and with some of them I truly have strong friendships. Moreover, during these years I represented such different countries, allowing me to try thinking from other perspectives. So, I can tell that being a delegate has been one of the greatest experiences of my life and therefore I want my delegates to feel the emotions I had. I hope you will participate with enthusiasm in our Mun and enjoy it! Just a little suggestion: do not be shy, just go for it! See you in November in our pretty little town, Cividale del Friuli!
